(18 March 2008 - Hong Kong) – The winners of the Mission Hills Group 2008 Lunar New Year “Firework Extravaganza” photo contest have revealed. The presentation ceremony was held on 18 March at the Mission Hills Group Hong Kong Office.

Mr. Tenniel Chu, Chairman of the Mission Hills Golf Club; Executive Consultant of the “2008 Luna New Fireworks Extravaganza” event, Miss Chu Lien Fan, B.B.S., J.P. and Chairman of the Chinese Photographic Association of Hong Kong, Mr. Ng Lin Sing MH attended the presentation. 13 prizes have been awarded to the winners and runner-ups, whereas the grand prize included a 4 day / 3 night room package at the Mission Hill Resort & Spa and 3,000 Hong Kong Dollars.

The contest has attracted over 1000 participants and the evaluation process was held during the end of February.

Hong Kong’s 2008 Lunar New Year Fireworks Extravaganza, was proudly sponsored and presented by Mission Hills Group, Mission Hills Golf Club, China, and Hsin Chong Construction Group Ltd., a new business unit of Mission Hills Group.

The event was held on the 8 February 2008, with 10-scene, 23-minute program featured approximately 40,000 pyrotechnics worth around 7 million Hong Kong dollars. The fireworks launched from four barges in the centre of Victoria Harbour, and also celebrates the upcoming success of the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
