Hole #1 - 401 Yards Par 4
An accurate tee shot calls for a long iron or fairway wood as bunkers right and left are in range. Lots of sand left and back right will catch badly hit second shot. Club selection is the key with the approach.
Hole #2 - 602 Yards Par 5
Distance has been added to extend the length to almost 600 yards. This will definitely be very challenging for many golfers, as only the longest players will be able to reach in two, requiring more lay-up shots into the 100yard range. With this additional length, this hole has turned to a legitimate three shot hole for tournament play.
Hole #3 - 372 Yards Par 4
The most obvious change to this hole will be the huge volumes of soils that were placed along the left floor to provide a solid screen of landscaping, forming the hole, and shielding the former views to the town. The deep bunkers have tightened the landing area, thus tightening the hole. The cart path is made out of view, when length has been added to the back tee, with the new cart path being shifted left into the landscape.
Hole #4 - 424 Yards Par 4
Due to the additional 22 yards at the new back tee, the lake facing the green has been filled to facilitate playability and pace of play. This will be a classic example of a hole that is made easier for members and tougher for tournament play. The hole remains one of the most beautiful, natural holes on the course.
Hole #5 - 227 Yards Par 3
The first of the short holes where wind often plays a part in determining which club to use. There is plenty of room in front of the green, while the bunker short and left should be avoided. As there is a ridge that runs across the green, it is important to be on the same side as the pin.
Hole #6 - 524 Yards Par 5
Right centre of the fairway is the line to take from the tee. Big hitters may be able to reach in two. With a ridge running through this shallow and deceptive green, those who opt to lay-up with their second shot can attack the flag with their approach.
Hole #7 - 417 Yards Par 4
A series of new bunkers has been added at the greenside and the inside of the turn, to create a true dogleg, so as to increase the difficulty of this hole. The cart path routed left into the densely landscaped slope turning into the hole. Extensive landscaping along the right side, with an emphasis to incorporate more turf and less groundcover, so as to speed pace of play.
Hole #8 - 145 Yards Par 3
The shortest hole on the course where the green is well protected by bunkers. Despite the undulating nature of the putting surface, players will be seeking birdies here.
Hole #9 - 452 Yards Par 4
It is essential to stay away from the left side with the tee shot. Bunkers and a deep hollow will catch any approach shots that are short or pulled. The hole has a tricky putting surface to complete the front nine.
Hole #10 - 417 Yards Par 4
A beautiful lake has been added to create a very calm feel, but contradictory, a few bunkers at the turn will keep players on their toes and require additional accuracy.
Hole #11 - 560 Yards Par 5
The hole has been re-modeled and tightened to provide a tougher test for players, but the widening of the landing area, allowed a better visual of this new lake faces of rocks and stone bridge.
Hole #12 - 426 Yards Par 4
This hole doglegs right and slightly down to a beautiful green guarded on the right by one of the largest greenside bunkers on the course. Position your tee shot along the upper left edge for the best angle in.
Hole #13 - 185 Yards Par 3
This medium length par three plays over a lake to a well-bunkered green, set at a right-to-left angle. A new tee has been added for additional length, but this hole will prove to be one of the easier in the rotation. A new stone bridge provides a beautiful backdrop.
Hole #14 - 454 Yards Par 4
Doglegging slightly right to left and uphill, this hole plays longer than the yardage would indicate, and an additional tournament tee has been added for an extra challenge. Deep bunkers guard the green where tricky pin placements can be added.
Hole #15 - 232 Yards Par 3
A long par three that plays over a huge bunker stretching from tee to green. The green is large and slopes from the heavily vegetated backdrop. A good size bail-out fairway area is on the left, but leaves you with a difficult chipping opportunity.
Hole #16 - 539 Yards Par 5
One of the biggest changes is turning a easy par 5 into a more difficult hole. A hole that was never difficult to many better players, has added two over water shots. The new hole will be an easier play for those not afraid of facing shots over water. The tournament tee length and parallel water greenside, will ask the better players to hit a much more precise second shot. Although this hole will be very exciting in tournaments, as players can still make an eagle, but, disaster awaits every shots much more than before. The wonderful long view backdrop remains, and leaving this a very stunning hole.
Hole #17 - 487 Yards Par 4
Having been stretched to 65 yards, this hole is now a parade for tournament play. Lowering the landing area for better visuals into the new greenside, with the protection by deep bunkers, this once a breathtaking hole is now a strong candidate for the toughest.
Hole #18 - 459 Yards Par 4
(Signature Hole)
A fabulous finishing hole that will test the mettle of all players whose matches go to the wire. Long drives to the right center of the fairway will gain extra yardage from the down slope. With the clubhouse as the backdrop, the approach to the two-tiered green is a daunting one over bunkers, particularly when the flag is on the left.
